What are the Freight Indices?
In the WTP application, you can gain insights into various transport routes using 'Freight
Indices'. To do this, go to the menu bar and click on 'Prices & indices', then on 'Freight
Indices'.
Update Policy of Freight Indices
WTP uses monthly average freight indices. The data is current and is shown in monthly
averages. The history of the indices goes back to 2017.
We provide access to the following indices:
- 6 transport routes in the 'Air Freight' category
- 59 transport routes in the 'Road Europe, Middle East and Africa' category
- 5 transport routes in the 'Road North America' category
- 6 transport routes in the 'Sea Freight' category
Our data partner Upply.com provides us with the necessary data. Currently, it is not possible for Buynamics to add other transport routes. If Upply.com makes additional routes available,
we will incorporate them into the application.
